Water Conditions:
Oronogo is a great place to
dive with the visibility almost always good through out the year. The
Average visibility is 20 to 40 feet, is generally best below thermalcline
and in Fall through spring. Surface temperatures
peak in the high 80s during summer, drops
to 70 degrees around 40 feet deep and 50 degrees from the 2nd thermalcline
to the 210 foot bottom.
There are are not many of the shy fish in this quarry, but there is plenty
to see with sunken Cars, Platforms,
Boats, a plane, and much more. Sloping underwater roads lead to
the attractions making this a great place for divers wanting to go deep or
stay shallow.
