Scuba Dive Trip 2001

When and Where:
Place: Canyon Lake, Texas When: 21-22 July 2001
Scuba Divers meeting between 9:00 and 9:30am Saturday 21-July-2001 at North Park Scuba Dive Area.

Water Conditions:
Average visibility is 5 to 10 feet but sometimes better.
Water Surface Temperatures peak in the high 80s in summer.
Water Thermal cline is 5 to 10 degrees below surface temperature.

Under water sites at The North Park Scuba Dive Area:
At The North Park Scuba Dive Area there are there are Cars, Motorcycles, Platforms, Boats, Nice ledges, trees in some areas and much more. Canyon Lake has a variety of Aquatic Life including Large Bass, Catfish, purch and more.

Directions:
North Park Scuba Dive Area is located North of San Antonio and West of San Marcos.
From I-35 take 306 west, located on North side of New Braunfels. Follow 306 West through Canyon City and turn Left at North Park. This is a pay per vehicle area, with a price of about $7.00 per day.

Canyon Lake area Dive Shops:
There are three dive shops in the area.

Scuba Adventurer will be staying at Potters Creek campgrounds located about 10 miles from the North Park dive site off 306. Potters Creek camping area has water view sites, hot showers, restroom facilities and a boat ramp.
