Visibility	5 to 15 feet, some days the visibility may seem like zero.
Water Surface Temp	Temperatures peak at 82 degrees Fahrenheit in summer.
Aquatic Life	Scorpion fish, Stingrays, Sea urchins, Jelly Fish and more.
Depth	Shallow points next to Jetties which tapers off.
Underwater terrain	Nice Large boulders.

Off Shore Water Conditions at Oil Rigs
Visibility	100 feet or more.
Water Surface Temp	Temperatures peak at 82 degrees Fahrenheit in summer.
Aquatic Life	Normally at about 30 to 40 feet under the Oil Rigs there are lots of tropical fish surrounding the corral that has built up on the support pipes. Large Groupers generally inhabit the waters at 60 feet or deeper. It is not unusual to see groups of Barracuda and other fish.
Depth	Depth can vary from Oil rig to Oil Rig, usually depths are around 100 feet.
Underwater terrain	Large support pipes for the oil rig usually covered with coral.
Off Shore Trips	Trips generally run around $130.00 per person. One boat that leaves from Port Aransas is called Adventurer and reservations can be made by calling 1-800-567-5132.
