and 9:30am Saturday (09-June-2001) at Scuba Point Dive Shop parking lot.
Water Conditions:
Visibility is 20 to 40 feet year around. (Average 20 feet)
Water temperature peaks at about 80 degrees in the summer and thermocline at about 70 degrees.
Under water sites at Scuba Point:
Cars, Boats, Dive platforms, Truck, Tube to swim through, Nice large ledges, some trees and lots of other things to see. The dive site entrance has a large buoyed off area for diver safety located in front of the dive shop. When you first get in the water the visibility is generally low due to the amount of divers entering in the same place, but the visibility normally opens up at or before the first ledge. Mapped dive attractions are at a variety of depths ranging from 10 feet to 85 feet. A laminated map of the diving area can be purchased at Scuba Point dive shop.
Directions:
Possum Kingdom is located about 2 hours West of Dallas.
Take US 180 West through Mineral Wells and turn right on Hwy 337.
Travel North on Hwy 337 to Hwy 254 and turn left.
Travel West on Hwy 254 and turn left on Rout 16.
Travel South on Rout 16, then turn right on P36 and follow signs to lake.

Scuba Adventurer will be arriving at Possum Kingdom on Friday evening 08-June-2001and will be staying at Scenic Point North View. Scenic Point North View is located off 2951and has lake view rooms from across the road. This is a two-story condo plan with 1 bed, a sleeper sofa, TV and no in room phone.
